In case anyone was wondering, it’s not intimidating at all to shoot the wedding of two big-time talented videographers, don’t worry! It definitely doesn’t make you stress about stepping up your cinematic game and delivering something that’s worthy of the creativity these two have in every cell of their bodies… jk yes it does, and if we hadn’t already had so much sweet time with these guys in Panama we might have just peed our pants (seriously go look at how amazing they are in their engagement photos, they’re too much).
Katy and Eric picked what might be our dream wedding venue— Salvage One in Chicago, an antique shop but instead of kitschy doilies, it’s got like, ROOMS full of bathtubs. Three floors of nooks and crannies to escape to while your guests party away all over the property. An old brick building full of treasures and soft light. We were FEELING it. I’ll let these babes take it from here but also let me note that they did their first dance to whale calls and that shit is hilarious. Cheers to the couples in the world who take ideas and run with them, whether it’s a last minute engagement shoot in Panama or dancing to whale sounds and confusing your wedding guests. Gah we love these two.
“I love when he adjusts his glasses like that. It’s one of the first things that made me fall in love with him.” -Katy
